What is the sports day?

The Dunking Devils team prepares a sports day for your pupils with different acrobatic and sports stations. Guided by our animators, pupils test their skills, take on new challenges and discover the world of acrobatics.

It is a sports experience that brings acrobatics, movement and teamwork closer to children in a fun and active way. Through the stations, pupils learn the basics of acrobatic elements, sports challenges and team tasks, while developing coordination, balance, self-confidence and a love of movement.

The sports day includes:

  • An introduction with instructions, safety rules and a warm-up
  • 6 acrobatic and sports stations, each led by a Dunking Devils animator
  • Complete organisation and delivery of the programme, with all the specialised equipment

Everything is included — equipment, delivery and organisation. You provide the space, we take care of everything else.

Attractions and stations

Up to 90 pupils are active at the same time. Each station is led by an experienced Dunking Devils animator.

  1. Acrobatic dunking

Pupils jump off a mini trampoline and dunk on a basketball hoop, guided step by step by our acrobats.

  2. Airtrack acrobatics

First rolls, cartwheels and jumps on a soft inflatable airtrack.

  3. Acrobatic challenges

Balance, jumps and simple acrobatic elements, adapted to the age group.

  4. Master of precision

Shooting and accuracy challenges that train focus and coordination.

  5. Sports obstacle course

A fun course that tests agility, speed and courage.

  6. Devils sports relays

Team relays where pupils cheer each other on and work together.

How the day runs

We adapt the programme to the age group — kindergarten, grades 1–5, grades 6–9 and secondary school.

  1. Welcome and warm-up

We welcome the pupils, introduce the programme, explain the safety rules and start with fun movement games.

  2. Groups

Pupils are split into groups that rotate between the sports stations.

  3. Guided stations

Led by our animators, pupils try acrobatics, trampoline, basketball and other sports challenges.

  4. Finale

A group finale of the sports day, with the option of a live Dunking Devils acrobatic show.

Programmes

We run the programme at your school, in the gym or on an outdoor court. Sports days start at 9:00 or 12:00, and we adapt the offer to the number of pupils, the length of the programme and the school’s location.

150–180 minutes

90 minutes

Organisation, running of the programme, specialised sports equipment, set-up and packing away are all included.

Add a Dunking Devils show

The sports day is led by members of Dunking Devils — the Slovenian acrobatic team with more than 3,500 shows in 58 countries. Finish the day with their acrobatic show: mini-trampoline jumps, dunks and live acrobatics right in front of your pupils.

7 minutes

A shorter acrobatic performance to close the day.

15 minutes

Full show

The complete Dunking Devils show: trampoline jumps, dunks and live acrobatics.

The show is performed at your school as the finale of the sports day, for the whole group regardless of the number of pupils. Book it when you confirm the date of the sports day.
